The LS50s don’t have a particularly rich bass. I can’t speak for the new one maybe it does? It sounds great though without tuning in this room. Hard to say exactly since it was 3 years ago, both were/are driving a pair of KEF LS50's (non-meta) and the original Powernode was 60 watts per channel I believe and the M10 is 100 watts per channel so the sound with the M10 is definitely what I could call 'fuller', meaning a bigger soundstage with the LS50's. The couch prevents it from being directly across.

Was lusting after the 75wpc Cambridge Audio Evo 75 but the lil old Powernode wont be going anywhere. 60w is doing it for me Have a Bluesound Powernode 2i and its doing a great job. She likes the speakers but she won’t let me put up speaker stands, and thinks the top of that piece should have useless decor on it - which I disagree. I'm new to the whole Hi-Fi world and I've set my sights on the new Bluesound POWERNODE. Was wondering if 60 watts a channel is enough to drive my LS50 Meta’s properly or should I add a power amplifier.
Have you tried the Sub for sound quality when placed on the floor adjacent to the speakers - on either side?ĭoes Sonos Amp + Sub offer Trueplay tuning? If yes, it is worth doing that and deciding if you like that result more than the untuned version. I am surprised - the wife does not like the look of the KEFs?
